Inno Trans, held every other year, is the world’s largest railway industry trade fair; approximately 3,000 companies and organizations from 60 countries around the world exhibit. The numbers of visitors last time reached more than 140,000 that was a record high level.
Our Group is developing a worldwide 4-pole production bases in the railway business. In addition to Japan, China, and Europe, where production is already underway, full-scale production will also begin in the US in early 2019. Our company’s anti-vibration rubber for rolling stock has been used in every Shinkansen, starting with the opening of the Tokaido Shinkansen in 1964, and we are proud to say we maintain the largest market share in Japan (by our own estimates). Our strength lies in our ability to produce these products—valued highly by the Japanese market—at the same quality around the world.
This year, we aim to introduce our global network, able to handle localization requests for product procurement from customers, rolling stock manufacturers and railway components manufacturers. In addition, by exhibiting products from all companies, we will work to introduce our varied product lineup to existing customers and acquire new customers to expand our global market share.
